The Giant Pikachu, from 20 to 65cm
If you only look at one plush on this page, make it this one. The Giant Pikachu is the best seller across our whole plush range, and it comes in five heights: 20, 35, 45, 55 and 65cm. The smallest starts from £14.90 and suits a toddler or a desk. The 65cm one is about as tall as a three-year-old sitting up, which is why it ends up in bedrooms rather than on shelves.
It's the Pikachu everybody pictures. Yellow fur, red cheeks, black-tipped ears and that zigzag tail. If you want the classic look with a slightly different face or pose, there are a few other standard Pikachu plush, including two newer 2026 designs.
Pikachu in someone else's clothes
This is where the range gets silly, in a good way. The cosplay plush show Pikachu wearing a hood shaped like another Pokémon. Charizard is the obvious one, and it comes in two different designs. Eevee Pikachu is just as popular.
Then it gets more unexpected. Pikachu dresses up as Garchomp, Tyranitar and Lucario, but also as Magikarp, which looks exactly as daft as you'd hope. If you know someone whose favourite Pokémon isn't Pikachu, a costume plush is a fun way to give them both at once. Most of these sell for around the same price as a standard medium plush.
Small details fans notice
Long-time fans spot things that casual buyers miss, and a few plush are made with them in mind. Female Pikachu has a notch at the end of the tail that makes it look like a heart, a detail the games added in Diamond and Pearl. Shiny Pikachu is a deeper orange-yellow than usual. Neither is obvious from across a room, which is half the fun.
Detective Pikachu, in the deerstalker from the 2019 film, is one of the most popular plush on this page. Team Rocket Pikachu is a nod to Jessie and James, who spent years of the cartoon trying to steal Ash's partner and never managed it.
Sleepy Pikachu for the bedroom
A sitting Pikachu falls over in bed. A sleeping one doesn't, because it's made curled up and lies flat on a pillow. The Sleeping Pikachu XXL is 45cm long, roughly 18 inches, which is about the width of a single pillow. There's a smaller sleeping version too. Both sit alongside sleeping Eevee and Charmander in Sleeping Pokémon plush.
One design is a plush bag that turns into a cushion. Pack it with pyjamas for a sleepover, then use it as a pillow once you're there.
Choosing a size by age
Most Pikachu plush sit between 15 and 24cm. That's light enough for a toddler to drag around all day and still fits in a school bag. Between 25 and 39cm, a plush stops being something you carry and becomes something that lives on the bed. The big sizes (40cm and up) are better for older children and adult collectors who have the room.
Costume plush and some special editions have extra pieces, like a hat or a tail. If the plush is for a very young child, read the safety information on its listing first.
Dressing up with Pikachu
Pikachu and a costume go well together for World Book Day, Halloween or a themed birthday party. One bundle pairs an Ash Ketchum outfit with a Giant Pikachu, so the outfit comes with its sidekick. You'll find more outfits in Pokémon costumes & cosplay. For younger children, another bundle puts a Giant Pikachu with a baby Snorlax onesie, and there are plenty more in Pokémon onesies.
In December, a Christmas gift box puts Santa Pikachu with an advent calendar and a Charizard plush. It's with the rest of our Pokémon Christmas gifts.
Pikachu on a keyring, in a bag, on the shelf
Not every Pikachu plush is made for hugging. Small plush keyrings clip onto a school bag or a set of house keys, and more of them are in Pokémon keyrings. They're one of the easiest small gifts in the shop, from £15.90. A plush bag with Pikachu and Snorlax on the front does the same job for younger children.
If you'd prefer a Pikachu that stands still on a shelf, our Pikachu figures are the plastic alternative. And if Pikachu is one favourite among several, compare with Eevee plush toys and Snorlax plush toys, or see every character in Pokémon plush toys.
